Wellington.AI 3.0

Calling all AI-loving product, business and techie people to the third of our quarterly gatherings in June!

After the astounding success of our previous events, the team at Wellington AI looks forward to welcoming you again for another exciting exploration of applied AI! Come along to ProjectR on the 13th June to meet other practitioners, hear about what’s going on in artificial intelligence locally, and participate in hands-on discussion about the scope, impact and challenges of applied AI on local industry.

What is City AI?
We are a community of 40+ cities that share discoveries in applied AI and connect you to international peers. With this aim in mind, we organize quarterly get-togethers that help you to connect to your local AI community.

We’re very proud to announce this session’s guest speakers:

  • “Managing an Artificially Intelligent Workforce” by Martijn Verhoeven, Prefer
  • “A Non-AI Approach to AI” by Vince Warnock, Cigna

5.50 – Introduction
6.00 – Guest Speakers

7.00 – Peer to Peer Sessions

Who is this event aimed at and what should I expect?

We put on our events to build a community, share expertise, and support the application of AI and related technologies. As such, these events are aimed at web/app developers, product designers, founders/entrepreneurs, project/team leaders, and anyone who is passionate about making AI happen!

A key component of our events (and what makes us quite different from other groups) is the designated time for ‘clinic session’ discussions. Within the clinic groups, experts, innovators and interested minds work together to discuss/solve a challenge, helping you connect with fellow practitioners to exchange experience and best practices. Feedback from previous clinic sessions has been extremely positive and most felt it highly valuable, so we really want to hear about the new challenges you are facing in AI application! Take part by submitting your challenge or obstacle when registering and we will select a few to share in the Clinic Discussion on the night. You can remain anonymous if you wish – just specify with your challenge – however it may make it harder for your challenge to be chosen for a clinic.

We look forward to seeing you all there!
