The last few months has seen a period of change for AIFNZ as we sadly farewell Emma Naji. I would like to acknowledge the inspirational leadership Emma brought as Executive Director, she advocated for Women in AI and built strong foundations for our strategy work to continue. He manawa tītī koe Emma, you have been deliberate, focused and will be missed by our EC team.
Following Emma’s departure we are fortunate to have recruited returning talent from abroad and nau mai, piki mai Madeline Newman to our team as our new ED. She has been working with AI and Tech in the Health and Regulation space and brings new thinking and international connections to our team.
With Madeline on board we are back up and running and look forward to the new things coming to our space soon.
