The AI Debates: Automation

Victoria University of Wellington presents one of three debates about the upcoming challenges of artificial intelligence.

Who is better at driving a car: a human or a computer? How will automation change our cities? What will life look like when the robots arrive?

Hear four of Wellington’s Artificial Intelligence experts take on these questions and more as they debate the shared futures of technology and humanity.

This debate is intended as a general introduction to our series, and will be followed by specific debates on AI’s impacts on education (Wednesday) and employment (Thursday). Secure tickets for Wednesday’s education debate here, and Thursday’s employment debate here.

First hour for speakers and Q&A, followed by networking and nibbles in the Mezzanine foyer.
